The most recent session for LOD presented the same challenges as the last, namely the position of the sun relative to the subject/product. The requirement for the background was a specific section of field, dictating the camera angle and causing the trucks to be backlit by the sun. This required lighting be triggered remotely in the field, utilizing portable strobes and battery units. An additional hurdle was defining the nature of the product – flat black steel and aluminum mounts and guards. Always satisfying to work with Chris of LOD and follow the development of his new products, which are used by enthusiasts throughout the world.
