Mel had very specific requests for her headshot. She does a lot of speaking engagements and it was important to her that her headshot show off her rainbow hair, as well as loud and wild personality. I chose the red background because it would contrast the cold tones of purple and green in her hair and help it pop in the image. I also brought a posing table in for this because Mel talks a great deal with her hands so I thought it would be best to feature them in her headshot.
