If I were to choose anything to change regarding this particular assignment it would have been to shoot on a less overcast day. If you’ve ever worked with farmers or those associated with them then you know that their availability is extremely limited.
We began very early in the hopes of staying cool and utilizing the pleasing, early morning light. Augmented with some fill light, we still managed a few highlights despite the total cloud cover. Ironically, there was enough light to cause John’s glasses to tint, which I corrected “in post”. You’ll note the uncorrected image number three for comparison’s sake. For years I have relied on IS Photographic for professional portraits and commercial business photography – once again they delivered! We appreciate Dave and his teams ability to take help us at the studio and in this case, on-site at a farm in Indiana. The experience was fun and I am very pleased with the way the photos turned out. Thanks again!
We will be needing some shots like this in the near future for our business.
