Some months ago John and I worked together on some business portraits, to be used for self-promotion but also needed for some of his personal appearances and sponsor obligations. This time around the project was promotion of the limited-edition Star Wars comic, with Boba Fett cover. John gained the rights from Marvel to exclusive release of this edition. What an honor to be a part of a project by one of the most popular Marvel artists today featuring the coolest character from the Star Wars universe. In the image used on the back cover of the comic, John requested a clean but shadowy image, featuring Boba lit in the foreground and himself barely visible (through lighting and in-camera blurring techniques) just behind. A satisfying and perhaps once in a lifetime project.
