I was asked to photograph a kitchen with cabinets created by a local custom cabinet maker. The anticipated challenge was bringing enough detail to images of BLACK cabinets. This was achieved by working within proper lighting conditions, including time of day. What I feel really brings the proper look to interior architectural images is lens selection and camera angle. Note the two different looks below, achieved with differing lenses and angles.
